Terry was exactly the agent we needed for our relocation from the New York area to Charlotte.
We first explored a move to Charlotte a couple years ago, saw his video online and realized he had lived in Hoboken, NJ, where we were living at the time. We were looking to flee Wall Street for better weather and cost of living and we felt particularly comfortable because we learned Terry had helped many similar clients move from the banking world in NY to Charlotte. Our move was pushed back, but I reached out again this year when we were finally ready to make a move, and Terry's guidance was critical. Like many people do, we had pre-selected several homes based on online photos before our arrival, but Terry counseled us that there is no substitute for seeing property in person. We did see those homes, but he also encouraged us to consider additional homes that he had found. As it turns out, the house we had loved online was our least favorite house, and the second house Terry showed us on our first day of the search was 100% perfect for us. Here are our favorite things about Terry:1) He lets you guide the process as much or as little as you want, but always offers helpful suggestions at the right time. He did not guide us to the most expensive house -- he was focused on getting us the *right* house.2) He is a strong but reasonable negotiator. 3) He is extremely responsive. 4) He has good judgment. Terry will not hesitate to steer you away from a questionable purchase. For apartment-dwellers who have never dealt with houses, this is especially important.5) He's fun to be around during a process that is inherently stressful. Don't underestimate the importance of a pleasant partner in this process.I hope we never have to move again, but if we do, Terry will be our first call!

English is not my first language so forgive any mistakes. The first time we met Terry was 5 years ago before moving to Charlotte. His site and presentation helped us to understand how to find a home that you need and like. Terry and his associates were very responsive and gave us great suggestions and basic science to find the perfect home. We bought the house and lived happily there 4 years. However, life moved forward and one day we realize that we need to sell the house. We tried to sell the house ourself for 6 month without success. And we decided asked Terry again to help us, this time with selling. From the first days we realized that we have a great guy, he knew just what to do. He prepared a solid plan on how to perform small renovations and professionally stage the house for a quick sale, with minimal investments. In 6 weeks our 4000 + sf home was transformed. His recommendations regarding new designs were very professional and get straight to the point. During the first month we got several offers and choose the best one. There are not enough words to express our appreciations of his job as he helped us move on with our life.
